What is it?
While the updates to the Pixel 8 over Pixel 7 are incremental, such as a fresh processor (Tensor G3 as compared to G2 on 7) and slightly improved camera (similar hardware with better processing), the main trick up its sleeve is that Google is promising seven years of software updates, till 2030! Other than that, the Pixel 8 comes in grey, black and pink colours, and loses out on the white and yellow offered on Pixel 7. The display at 6.2-inch is 0.1 inch smaller, which is reflected in its dimensions. The screen is also brighter at 2,000 nits compared to 1,400 nits on the Pixel 7. The screen refresh rate is also higher at 120Hz (90Hz on 7).
