]]> Bajaj Auto has launched the Chetak 3201 Special Edition which is exclusively available on Amazon at an introductory price of ₹1,28,744 (ex-Showroom Bangalore). The scooter is available in only one colour. The looks are enhanced by “Chetak” stickering on the side panels along with a two-toned quilted seat. In terms of the tech aspects, the 3201 Chetak gets a monochrome TFT as standard, but it can be upgraded to a colour TFT by purchasing the ‘TecPac’.

The company has not mentioned the price for the upgrade to the ‘TecPac’ but it gets features such as a TFT that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and two riding modes (Sport and Eco). The Chetak 3201 gets a  3.2 kWh battery, which boasts a claimed top speed of 73 kmph,  pack similar to the top-spec Premium variant but has a higher claimed range and charging time. While Bajaj has not mentioned the amount of units which will be sold of the 3201 variant, customers can buy it on Amazon through the convenience of their homes.

]]> Chetak has strengthened its portfolio by adding the all-new 2901, their most affordable model yet at Rs. 95,998 (ex-showroom). This model is equipped with a 2.88 kWh battery, providing a range of 123 km and a top speed of 63 km/h. It features a coloured digital console, alloy wheels, and bluetooth connectivity. The Chetak 2901 also offers an optional TecPac with additional features. 

The add-on unlocks functionalities like app connectivity, call management, music control, geo-fencing, and ride modes access. The 2901 will come in Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow and Azure Blue colour variants.

Commenting on the launch, Eric Vas, President of Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “We are excited to begin shipping the Chetak 2901 to our dealerships. Designed and priced to attract current petrol scooter users, the Chetak 2901 offers a full-size metal body electric scooter that competes with petrol scooters in performance and cost.
