The Simple Energy startup unveiled the launch teaser for their new Simple One Ultra e-scooter utilizing a 6.5kWh battery pack. It claims an IDC certified range of 400km, making it the longest range in the e-scooter segment. The Simple One Ultra is expected to debut later this year, with prices likely to start at around ₹2.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Simple Energy has also introduced a second-generation update to its lineup. The Gen 2 update brings a 7-inch TFT display with connectivity features, offered in both touchscreen and non-touchscreen versions. Safety tech includes hill-hold assist, traction control, and four modes of cruise control and regenerative braking system.

Simple Energy also claims performance gains through weight reduction and chassis revisions. New EcoX and SonicX riding modes focus on range and performance. All the variants get a 1-litre front glove box, and 35 litres of boot space.

The current Simple One lineup is priced between ₹1.39 lakh and ₹1.77 lakh. The Simple OneS offers a 3.7kWh battery capacity, delivering 52Nm torque and 9PS peak power. It claims an IDC range of 190km. The Simple One gets a larger 4.5kWh battery while retaining the same output figures as the OneS, resulting in a claimed range of 236km. The top-spec variant offers higher performance and a claimed range of 265km, positioning it among the longest-range scooters in its price bracket. Charging times range between 4.5 and 5 hours, with fast charging supported.
