Jack of all trades, master of some?

The Oppo F25 5G impresses with its sleek design, vibrant display, and strong performance. Powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset and featuring a versatile camera setup, it offers excellent value. With robust battery life and fast charging, it’s a solid mid-range option that delivers on all fronts without breaking the bank.

Design and Build Quality
The Oppo F25 5G boasts a rather sleek design, featuring a flat back and edges, along with a punch-hole camera setup that minimizes bezels for an immersive viewing experience. The inclusion of a single speaker with decent audio quality adds to the multimedia experience, although the absence of a headphone jack may be a downside for some users.

Display
One of the standout features of the Oppo F25 is its display. With a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED 10-bit HDR 10+ panel, users can expect vibrant colors, deep blacks, and smooth animations. The display also boasts around 1100 nits of peak brightness, ensuring good visibility even under direct sunlight.

Performance and Gaming
Under the hood, the Oppo F25 is powered by the Dimensity 7050 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. There are two storage options available, 128GB and 256GB. This hardware configuration ensures smooth multitasking and responsive performance, allowing users to switch between apps effortlessly. During our gaming sessions, the device performed admirably, handling graphically demanding titles like COD Mobile and Asphalt 9 on high settings without experiencing significant frame drops or lag.

Camera Capabilities
The camera setup on the Oppo F25 is versatile, comprising a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. At the price at what it is offered, the F25 provided acceptably sharp images even while zoomed.

Software and User Experience
The Oppo F25 runs on ColorOS, based on Android 14. While ColorOS comes preloaded with some bloatware, users have the option to uninstall or disable unnecessary apps to streamline the software experience.

Battery Life and Charging
Powering all this is a 5000mAh battery and a 67-watt SuperVOOC charger. In real-world usage scenarios, the device easily lasts a full day on a single charge, even with heavy usage. Moreover, the SuperVOOC charger ensures rapid charging, in our tests , it took the F25 from 20 to 100 percent in around an hour.

Verdict
Priced competitively between 23,999 to 25,999 online, the F25 is a compelling option for users seeking a feature-packed smartphone that doesn’t break the bank.
