Nissan’s latest model is christened the Gravite, following the naming convention set by the Magnite SUV. This is a sub- 4 metre MPV with three rows of seats, quite like the Renault Triber. Not much else was shared about the Gravite, other than the fact that prices will be announced in March next year.
Nissan is expanding its portfolio over the next year or so. First of the new models will be the updated Magnite, which will be revealed in February. Then will come the reveal of the Tekton, which will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta. The Gravite will launch in March, as mentioned above. Finally, a 7 seater SUV based on the same platform as the Tekton will be launched by 2027.

To take care of the added models and the after-sales support they will inevitably need, Nissan also plans to expand its footprint in India by 50 dealerships by February, a good 25 percent increase from the current number. An additional 50 dealerships will raise their shutters by the time the final model from this list of launches is made available to the public. Nissan will also increase its sales and service workforce from 800 to 3,000 personnel to deal with the additional cars.
