For the time being, the tyres will only be offered in the Western region of the country

The JK Tyre Levitas Ultra tyres are designed primarily for luxury cars. The Indian luxury car market has seen rapid expansion of nearly 50 percent, and JK Tyre intends to capitalise on this. The tyre is designed to offer utmost comfort, low noise and high durability, according to the manufacturer.

JK Tyre conducted testing in India as well as Europe to ensure the tyre meets the requirement of luxury car owners. At this time, the tyre will be offered in seven different sizes, starting from 225/55-R16 and going up to 245/45-R18. JK Tyre also mentioned that they plan to expand the Levitas Ultra range to 19-inch to 22-inch rims as well.

Other than Apollo, no other Indian manufacturer offers tyres of these sizes, as the main competition is from established foreign brands such as Bridgestone, Continental, Michelin Pirelli and Vredestein.
