It joins the Standard and the Deluxe variants in the Activa lineup
Honda has launched the H-Smart variant of the Activa 6G at Rs 80,537, ex-showroom. It joins the Standard and the Deluxe variants in the existing Activa lineup. It is priced at a premium of roughly Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,500 over the Standard and the Deluxe respectively.
The H-Smart variant comes with a number of remote unlocking features that allow the rider to unlock the scooter, open the trunk and even the fuel lid without removing the key from their pocket. There’s a rotary switch that can be used to access these features. Other additions include an anti-theft function and redesigned alloy wheels. Also, you can make the indicators blink in a parking lot to easily locate your scooter.
The mechanicals remains unchanged as the Smart Key variant is still powered by the 109.51cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine, developing 7.8PS and 8.8Nm. We can’t help but feel that this variant really should be offered on the Activa 125 as well.
While there aren’t any direct competitors of the Activa H-Smart, other scooters that come loaded with tech are TVS Jupiter ZX SmartXonnect, Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect edition and the Hero Maestro Edge.
