• Continental inaugurates its new Technical Centre in Bengaluru

The company has made an investment of Rs 1,000 crore for the new campus

Technology company Continental, a part of Continental’s Software and Central Technologies (SCT) organisation, has inaugurated its new campus in Bengaluru.

The company has made an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in its Technical Centre India (TCI). With a capacity of accommodating over 6,500 employees, the campus brings together a wide range of Continental’s new advancements. This new campus houses software, hardware, and vehicle test facilities for R&D as well as training centres.

Another thing to note, the campus is filled with green spaces, renewable energy sources and rainwater harvesting units, all of which contribute to Continental’s efforts towards sustainability.

Thanks to a strong local ecosystem, progressive legislation, and our huge engineering talent enabling our ambitious growth. We have made significant investments here in the last few years, including greenfield manufacturing plants and the expansion of production lines for vehicle electronics for passenger cars and two-wheelers. Our new R&D campus represents yet another milestone in our growth.”

Established in 2009, over the years TCI has grown by leaps and bounds in terms of people and competencies. Continental has been an expert in technologies like  Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, Machine Learning, and Cyber Security for the future of mobility. TCI will extend its services to Autonomous Mobility, Architecture and Networking, Safety and Motion, Smart Mobility and User Experience.
