Prices start from Rs 1.99 lakh for SRC 250, going all the way up to Rs 3.59 lakh for the SRK 400
A week ago, a China-based motorcycle manufacturer QJ Motor announced four new bikes for their India lineup and now the prices are finally out. The range starts at Rs 1.99 lakh for SRC 250, which goes all the way up to 3.59 lakh for the sports naked SRK 400.
SRC 250 and SRC 500:
These are two neo-retro motorcycles from QJ, priced at Rs 1.99 lakh and 2.59 lakh ex-showroom respectively. The SRC 250 has a 249 cc oil-cooled engine that produces 17.4PS of power along with 17Nm peak torque. It goes up against the likes of TVS Ronin and RE Hunter 350, both are priced around Rs 1.50 lakh ex-showroom. The SRC 500 on the other hand has a 480cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 25.5PS of power and 36Nm peak torque and it directly competes with the upcoming Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. Prices for the Super Meteor 650 are not available yet.
SRV 300 and SRK 400:
A cruiser and a sports naked bike from the marque are priced at Rs 3.49 lakh and Rs 3.59 lakh ex-showroom respectively. The SRV 300 has a 296cc, liquid-cooled, V-Twin motor producing 30.3PS of power and 26Nm of torque. This Cruiser from QJ will be competing with the likes of RE Meteor 350 which is priced at roughly Rs 2.0 lakh ex-showroom. The SRK 400 houses a 400cc, liquid-cooled, in-line two-cylinder engine that makes 40.9PS of power, while the torque produced is 37Nm. This sports naked motorcycle from QJ will go up against the likes of the KTM Duke 390 and the Bajaj Dominar 400. Which are priced at Rs 2.94 lakh and Rs 2.22 lakh ex-showroom respectively.
As things stand, the prices announced by QJ Motor may seem to be a little steep when compared to its rivals, but only time will tell if this price premium is something people are willing to overlook for the features onboard the QJ Motor lineup.
