• Skoda Commences Production of LHD Kushaq SUV

This version will be exported to global markets

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has announced that it has started production of the left-hand drive version of the Kushaq.  It will  be exported to global markets in the coming months. This is part of the brand’s aim to make India a global export hub for the VW group eventually.

The Kushaq is the first vehicle to be launched in the country under the SAVWIPL’s India 2.0 Project. It follows on the group’s push for exporting vehicles made in India to other markets like the Volkswagen Taigun, which the group began exporting from the country in February of this year and the Virtus, which also started very recently.
