New Bentley Continental GT S and GTC S models unveiled globally

The British car manufacturer has introduced the most powerful and dynamic versions of the S badge in the fourth-generation lineup
Bentley

Inspired by the limited-edition Bentley Supersports, these S models target driving performance and  blend visual presence with the latest high performance Hybrid powertrain and the chassis technology previously reserved for the GT Speed.

At the heart of the Continental GT S and GT Convertible S is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged crossplane V8 engine, combined with hybrid assistance, delivering 680PS and 930Nm of torque. It is an increase of 130PS and 160Nm over the previous generation S models. This setup outperforms the earlier W12 Speed variants in power, torque and acceleration metrics, while offering up to 80km of pure electric range. Claimed performance figures include 0-100kmph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 306kmph. It also features a dedicated sports exhaust.

The models feature Bentley’s most advanced driver–focused all-wheel-drive chassis, incorporating the Bentley Performance Active Chassis with Active All Wheel Drive, twin-valve dampers, torque vectoring, 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride active anti-roll system, updated ESC software, electronic limited-slip differential and all-wheel steering. This configuration helps provide a wide range of driving manners—from controlled traction in default mode to progressive rear slip in Dynamic mode, and fully driver-adjustable handling with ESC off.

Exterior enhancements include gloss black matrix grilles, black Bentley wings and lettering. Beluga black mirror caps, sill extensions, rear diffuser, dark-tint taillamps and sport exhaust tailpipe finishers. The standard 22-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels are available in silver, gloss black with machined faces, or in full gloss black.

The interior receives a two-colour upholstery split, fluted seat design, Dinamica technical fabric inserts on the steering wheel, gear lever, seats, and door panels, and Piano Black veneer as standard. Options include full leather upholstery, high-gloss carbon fibre veneer, and dark-tint chrome brightwork.

Positioned between the Bentley Azure and the GT Speed, the Continental GT S and GT Convertible S expand Bentley’s grand tourer range with sport dynamics. While global specifications are confirmed, pricing and availability details for India are yet to be confirmed.
