Mini India has opened the pre-bookings for the upcoming Mini Cooper S Victory Edition. The car pays homage to the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally-winning Mini Cooper S. Based on the Mini Cooper S JCW Pack, a limited number of units will be available to customers in India.
The Mini Cooper S Victory Edition is inspired by the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally car and comes with a Chilli Red exterior paintwork. A white stripe extends from the bonnet to the roof and the rear. Additionally, a white ‘52’ number is seen on both sides of the car, which is taken as a reference from the original rally car displayed in 1965.
Powering the Mini Cooper S Victory Edition is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which makes 204PS and 300Nm. Mini claims that it can achieve a 0-100 km/h in 6.6seconds. There is no word on its pricing yet, but interested customers can place their bookings at authorised Mini dealerships across the country.
