Limited to 25 units for existing Mercedes-Maybach, AMG and S-Class customers

If you think a boxy, rugged SUV cannot exude class, just take a look at the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition. It has made its way to India, albeit in limited numbers and requires you to be a pre-existing customer of a Mercedes-Maybach, AMG or S-Class. If you are, you probably won’t mind shedding Rs 4 crore, ex-showroom for the G 63 Grand Edition!

The exclusive SUV is finished in Night Black Magno shade with the AMG logo and the Mercedes star finished in Kalahari gold Magno. Additionally, the latter shade has been used for the inlays in the front and rear bumpers, front underbody protection and the spare wheel.

Inside the seats are draped in Nappa leather and feature gold contrast stitching. Elsewhere, there’s AMG emblems all over and the roof grab handles are also leather-wrapped adding an extra dash of premium feel to the already opulent cabin.

Under the hood is the familiar 4-litre bi-turbo V8 that puts out 585PS and 850Nm, capable of pushing this mammoth from 0-100kmph in 4.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 220kmph.

Only 1,000 units of the Grand Edition will be made globally and eventually the G-Class will be fully-electric, a preview of which has already been showcased in the concept form.
