Royal Enfield has launched the new Guerrilla 450, based on the Himalayan platform. The Guerrilla 450 is designed to be more road-biased than its adventure-ready sibling, with several key changes to suit urban riding.

The Guerrilla 450 gets a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40PS of power and 40Nm of torque. It also features ride modes, 17-inch wheels on both ends for better handling on tarmac, and a lower ground clearance of 150mm. The motorcycle also gets a smaller, 11L fuel tank compared to the Himalayan. With a starting price of ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the Guerrilla 450 is positioned as an attractive option for riders seeking a powerful and affordable street motorcycle.

While details are under embargo, the Guerrilla 450 is expected to rival offerings like the Triumph Speed 400, Harley Davidson x440, and Hero Maverick 440 in the sub-500cc segment.
