Lamborghini has introduced the new Urus SE in India, with prices starting at Rs. 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). The Urus SE, a plug-in hybrid, replaces the previous Performante and S variants. Along with its new powertrain, the SE boasts updated exterior and interior design elements, as well as enhanced technology and features.

Under the hood, the Urus SE is powered by the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, now tuned to deliver 620PS and 800Nm. This engine has been extensively re-engineered to work in harmony with the plug-in hybrid system, which is equipped with a 25.9kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric motor, integrated within the 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission (as seen in the Revuelto), brings the total system output to an impressive 800PS and 950Nm.

The Urus SE can cover up to 60km on electric power alone, reaching speeds of up to 130kph before the combustion engine engages. Even in EV mode, the Urus SE retains its four-wheel drive capability. Lamborghini claims a 0-100kph acceleration time of just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 312kmph.

The Urus SE features familiar driving modes—Strada, Sport, and Corsa for road and track, and Neve, Sabbia, and Terra for off-road conditions—along with four new modes: EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge, and Performance. The new Recharge mode, available in Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Neve, allows for up to 80 percent battery recharge while maintaining optimal performance. The Performance mode can be utilized for both on-road and off-road driving.

Design-wise, the Urus SE retains its recognizable silhouette but introduces several new elements. The bonnet has been redesigned, extending to the edge of the nose for a seamless appearance, while slimmer LED matrix headlamps replace the traditional Y-motif lighting signature. The front bumper has been updated, featuring a more aggressive grille assembly.

At the rear, the Urus SE sports a new spoiler and tailgate with a contrasting trim that connects the Y-shaped LED tail-lights. The registration plate has been relocated to the bumper, and the diffuser has been enlarged for a more prominent look. The redesigned wheels are available in 21-, 22-, or 23-inch sizes, paired with Pirelli P Zero tires.

Inside, the Urus SE’s dashboard has been updated with more three-dimensional panels, slightly revised AC vents, and new seats. The most notable upgrade is the larger 12.3-inch central touchscreen (up from 10.1 inches), which now runs the latest software and user interface from the Revuelto. Lamborghini continues to offer extensive customization options, including over 100 exterior colors, 47 interior finishes, and the Ad Personam program for even greater personalization.
