The iQOO Z10R makes a good first impression with its design. It comes with a glossy finish, curved edges and a slim profile that feels comfortable in the hand. Despite its lightweight design, the phone still offers IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, giving it an edge in everyday durability.

Inside, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This setup is strong for the price and handles multitasking, gaming and general usage without trouble. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera handles video calls and selfies reasonably well.

For day-to-day performance, the iQOO Z10R does its job well. Apps open quickly, switching between tasks is smooth, and streaming or browsing poses no challenge. Battery life is another strong point. The 5,700mAh battery easily lasts more than a day of normal use and the 44W fast charging takes it from zero to full in a little over an hour.

Where the phone struggles is the camera. While the hardware looks promising, the output often feels over-processed. Photos tend to have punchy contrast and deeper shadows, which won’t appeal to users looking for natural results. Low-light shots are average, and the lack of an ultra-wide camera limits shooting options. Selfies and videos are acceptable, but do not stand out. But considering the price bracket it is in, the overall output is satisfactory.

The iQOO Z10R is a balanced budget smartphone with good performance, solid battery life and an attractive design. It is good for daily use. However, its camera performance keeps it from being a top pick for a price of ₹19,999. However, with a bit more refinement in imaging and software, it could have been a stronger competitor.
