Hyundai Creta achieves 10 lakh sales milestone

The facelifted model has garnered over 60,000 bookings since launch

The Hyundai Creta may not have been the first midsize premium SUV in India, but it can certainly be credited for making it one of the most competitive segments in the country today. The SUV has been leading the sales chart for the majority of time since its launch in 2015 and now it has achieved a milestone of 10 lakh cumulative sales!

The South Korean carmaker has sold over 10 lakh Cretas in the domestic market and over 2.80 lakh units in the export market. The Creta has always been a feature-packed model with a generous amount of space along with ample powertrain options, helping it cater to a vast range of customers. This trend continues with the facelift of the second-generation model which has racked up over 60,000 bookings in the short span since its launch on January 16, 2024.

The current generation Creta comes with three engine and gearbox options. On top of that, the N Line model will soon be joining the lineup, further enhancing the appeal of the midsize SUV. It faces competition from its Korean sibling, the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor and Citroen C3 Aircross.
