Usually, I drive to the office in my Hyundai Creta (it’s his dad’s! – Ed), but one of these days I had my friend pick me up as the car was not available. However, something surprising happened that day — I was offered my first long-termer, the Hero Xoom.
I usually go for football practice after office hours and I was late for my practice, which happens often. But this time I had the Xoom with me. Every time I travel to my football practice in the car, I end up stuck in traffic for hours. But this time I felt a different energy, I was fully charged and excited. The red colour and the striking, aggressive design of the scooter boosted my motivation to a different level.
Once I got my hands on it there was no stopping me. I zoomed through traffic on the Xoom and felt very confident riding it around. The time displayed on the instrument cluster of the Hero helped me stop being late everywhere all the time. As I reached the football field and parked my long termer, all my teammates gathered around. Some were curious and some were amused by the unexpected choice of transport.
Even though I left late from the office, I reached the football ground on time without ever getting stuck in traffic as the Xoom managed to squeeze through almost every gap. Riding back home in the evening under the city lights, I reflected on the joy of combining the thrill of the ride with the thrill of the game. The Xoom has convinced me to not take the car all the time, not to mention cut down on my fuel costs significantly!
