Hero MotoCorp has recorded a year-on-year growth of 40 percent in December 2025 with the dispatch of 4.56 lakh units as opposed to 3.25 lakh units in the same period last year. The company has also recorded 2.92 lakh VAHAN (new vehicle) registrations. The growth is led by demand across the ICE and EV scooter portfolio.
Hero’s ICE scooter segment witnessed a growth of 45 percent in the October-December quarter, mainly led by the Destini 110, Destini 125, Xoom 125 and the Xoom 160. The global business recorded 21 percent growth in December 2025 with 37,236 units compared to the 30,754 units in the same time period of the previous year. The company also entered new markets internationally and has recorded 41 percent growth in exports.
VIDA, Hero’s electric mobility arm, has recorded 10,701 VAHAN registrations with a market share of 11 percent in the electric scooter segment, especially with higher demand for the VX2 electric scooter. Not only this, but VIDA has also partnered with Kolkata Knight Riders as a title sponsor for three seasons and has also launched the Dirt.E K3, a size-adjustable electric dirt bike for children 4-10 years of age.
Under Hero’s umbrella, Harley-Davidson has also expanded its product lineup with the launch of the Harley-Davidson X440 T. The company has also unveiled its top-of-the-line Harley-Davidson CVO (Custom Vehicles Operations) motorcycles in India with the CVO Street Glide and the CVO Road Glide.
