Hyundai unveiled its new electric MPV, the Staria Electric, at the Brussels Motor Show. The vehicle is based on the Hyundai Staria minivan introduced in 2021.
The Staria EV features an 800-volt electrical architecture, enabling fast charging from 10 to 80% in around 20 minutes using a DC fast charging. It is equipped with an 84kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 400Km. The electric motor delivers 218PS and supports a towing capacity of up to 2,000Kg. It will be offered in two variants: the luxury (7-seater) and wagon (9-seater) models.

The Staria Electric retains Hyundai’s “Inside-Out” design philosophy seen on the standard Staria. It features a tall roofline, twin sliding doors, and a large rear section. The Staria Electric also features a horizontal light band with uninterrupted lighting elements.

The Staria Electric is equipped with Hyundai’s connected car navigation cockpit (ccNC), over-the-air (OTA) software, and a suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Key features include lane keeping assist (LKA), lane following assist (LFA), and highway driving assist (HDA).
The Staria Electric is set to go on sale in South Korea and Europe in the first half of 2026, with a potential India launch expected later in 2026 as a premium MPV.
