Harley Davidson X440T has launched the X440 T in India at ₹2,79 lakh ex-showroom. It brings cosmetic updates and ride-by-wire throttle while being mechanically identical to the X440. However, Harley says there are as many as 72 updates on the motorcycle – an aluminium rear brake pedal, plastics swapped in favour of metal parts to name a few.
The X440T retains the 440cc, air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 27PS and 38Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The major visible change is a redesigned rear, which is replaced by a sleeker tail section. Additionally it gets exhaust heat shields, an exhaust end cap, bar-end mirrors and graphics inspired by the Harley Davidson XR 1200.
The Harley Davidson X440 T now uses ride-by-wire throttle, allowing the manufacturer to add two ride modes – Road and Rain and brings in switchable traction control and switchable rear-ABS. Paint options include – black, red, white and blue.
