Green SM, a Vietnamese electric mobility company, has launched its Green SM Limo electric taxi service in India. The service has currently been launched in Delhi and will operate in parts of the Delhi-NCR region before expanding to other cities. India is the fifth international market for Green SM, apart from countries like Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia and the Philippines. The company aims to offer a reliable and safe mobility service while also creating employment opportunities for locals.
The Green SM Limo service uses the VinFast Limo Green, a 7-seater fully electric MPV. Each vehicle will provide passengers with facilities such as drinking water, wet tissues and other basic necessities required during travel. For passenger safety, each vehicle is fitted with a Secure-to-Safe system, which includes interior and exterior cameras, AI-enabled features, and emergency support buttons for both the driver and passengers. Drivers for the service will undergo special training in electric vehicle operation, road safety and customer service.
Customers can book the Green SM service via the Green SM mobile application, available on both Google Play and the App Store. Additionally, the company is running a promotional offer that provides a discount of up to ₹250 on bookings made through the app.
