Ducati has launched the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India, with prices starting at ₹17.50 lakh for the V2 and ₹19.50 lakh for the V2 S (both ex-showroom). The motorcycle now uses the 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine shared with its supersport sibling as well as the 2025 Ducati Monster, Ducati Multistrada V2 and the Hypermotard V2.
The 2025 Streetfighter V2 now weighs 178kg (dry weight without fuel), while the V2 S is lighter at 175kg. The engine produces 120PS and 93.3Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

The two variants differ mainly in hardware. The standard V2 gets fully adjustable Marzocchi USD forks and a Kayaba rear shock. The V2 S, meanwhile, is equipped with Öhlins NIX 30 front suspension and an Öhlins rear unit. Both models come fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres, Brembo M50 braking hardware, and a Sachs steering damper.
Electronic aids include a 6-axis IMU governing cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. A 5-inch TFT instrument console allows riders to switch between Road, Road Pro and Track riding modes. Additionally, the V2 S comes equipped with launch control and pit limiter. Ducati has ditched the desmodromic valve system in favour of conventional spring-operated valves which should ideally lead to easier maintenance of the motorcycle.
