Vivo has launched the X300 series in India starting from ₹75,999 for the X300 and ₹ 1,09,999 for the X300 Pro. Both the variants come with Zeiss co-developed triple-camera setup.

The X300 is the more compact one with a 6.31-inch screen while the Pro model comes with a 6.78-inch LTPO display. Both the phones come with a pronounced circular bump which houses the triple-camera module.

The X300 Pro gets a 50MP main camera and a 200MP  telephoto camera. However the X300 gets the 200MP main camera which should result in very detailed imaging. Vivo has also introduced a telephoto extender kit, which when attached to the phone with the proprietary mount, increases the effective focal length for even more reach.  Video recording at 4K 120fps with 10-bit Log is available on both the models. On the front you get a 50MP wide-angle camera for selfies and videos.

Vivo

Under the hood, Vivo is using the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. The X300 comes in three variants – 12/256, 12/512 and 16/512GB, while the X300 Pro comes in a single 16/512GB storage variant. The X300 gets a 6040mAH battery while a bigger 6510mAh battery performs the duties on the X300 Pro.

Pre-bookings for the upcoming sale have already started and the phones will go on sale on December 10, 2025. It is to be seen how the real-life performance of the X300 series is as it will be facing heat from similar offerings from other brands as well. We will be reviewing the Vivo X300 Pro soon and the review will be out on our website.

OPPO has launched the Find X9 and X9 Pro smartphone with prices starting at ₹74,999 for the X9 and ₹1,09,999 for the X9 Pro. The flagship smartphone, which is set to go on sale from 21 November,  comes with a Hasselblad co-engineered 200MP telephoto camera aiming to preserve the clarity and details of the image when shot at longer focal lengths. The telephoto unit of the Find X9 can shoot images with 13.2x lossless zoom using intelligent cropping of the sensor and up to 120x hybrid zoom.

The camera-heavy Find X9 Pro comes with a lot of interesting features that make the camera capable of shooting very detailed images with clarity, while preserving the true-to-life colours and skin tones. The triple-camera units come with 50MP sensors across, and LUMO image engine, which delivers professional quality images and 4K Motion Photos, while consuming less power.

OPPO

The Hasselblad telephoto camera featuring a 200MP 1/1.56-inch sensor comes with a Hasselblad-certified lens featuring a floating-element design and f/2.1 aperture, which allows more light to hit the sensor even in dimly-lit situations. With a close focus distance of just 10 cm, users can shoot extremely detailed macro photos as well.

For the main camera, OPPO has used a Sony LYT-828 sensor with a custom size of 1/1.28-inch and OIS, which incorporates Ultra XDR and Real-Time Triple Exposure HDR technology, which also eliminates ghosting artefacts when shooting moving objects. On the front, it uses a 50MP sensor with a JN5 1/2.75-inch sensor with f/2.0 aperture and delivers a 120-degree field-of-view with minimal distortion.

Apart from these, OPPO’s partnership with Hasselblad brings in a lot of medium-format photography experience to the smartphone: Hasselblad Master mode – a dedicated mode allowing the user to fine tune the settings and shoot in RAW and high res jpegs, XPAN Mode – brings the famous Hasselblad XPAN film camera format of 65:24, Hasselblad Portrait Mode – delivering realistic skin tones, bokeh, and depth. You also get classic film simulation modes to mimic the evergreen film-esque output of analog photography.

In the video department, the X9 allows you to shoot 4K 120fps videos on the main sensor, while the X9 Pro extends this to the telephoto camera. You can also shoot videos on LOG, which allows serious film enthusiasts to colour grade the footage in post-production, fitting into their professional workflows.

OPPO

Under the hood, the X9 and X9 Pro run the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. The X9 comes in two variants – 12/256GB and 16/512GB variants, while the range-topping X9 Pro comes in a single 16GB LPXDDR5 RAM configuration paired with 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. The X9 and X9 Pro come with a 6.78-inch and 6.59-inch AMOLED display, respectively, which support up to 120Hz of refresh rate. The displays sit under Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, ensuring dust and water protection. The X9 draws power from a 7500mAh battery, while the X9 Pro comes with a 7025mAh battery capacity. Both smartphones support 80W of fast charging, 50W of wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. On the connectivity front, both smartphones come with dual-SIM support, NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Running the show is OPPO’s ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, which is promised to come with 5 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
