The all-new eighth-generation BMW 5 Series long wheelbase is all set to launch on July 24. Excitement builds up as BMW India has announced that pre-launch bookings of the 5 Series LWB will start from June 22. Notably, the 5 series will be locally manufactured at the BMW Group plant which is present in Chennai, India.
This new iteration of the 5 Series gets significant internal and external upgrades, offering a completely refreshed look. Competing in the premium sedan category, the 5 Series LWB will go head-to-head with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, Lexus ES, and Volvo S90.
