Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT) has unveiled a range of tyres for the consumer market. With the launch of its on-highway portfolio, including scooter, motorcycle and MHCV tyres, the company aims to expand its portfolio further in multiple segments.
The consumer side of BKT begins with the BKT Zenova and BKT Thyros, which are two-wheeler tyres available for both scooters and motorcycles. While the Zenova is developed for city and everyday use, the Thyros is engineered for both on- and off-road conditions.
On the heavier side of things, BKT has also unveiled the m.Loadxpert and the BKT Milexpert RG. These are tyres meant for medium to heavy commercial vehicles. The tyres are made for heavy usage, heavy hauls and BKT says that they offer stability and consistent performance.
Additionally, these tyres go through stringent manufacturing and testing procedures, including vehicle-level testing at NATRAX and thus carry necessary BIS certifications. BKT will roll out their consumer tyres in phases, which will be supported by a national level dealer network with both digital and physical platforms.
