Indian EV startup BGauss has launched its latest utility-focused electric vehicle, the RUV350. This model features a mid-mounted motor with a belt drive and a step-through design. The range starts at ₹1.10 lakh for the 350i EX, ₹1.24 lakh for the 350EX, and the range-topper 350 max is priced at 1.34 lakh.
It will be offered in three variants: RUV 350i EX, RUV 350EX, and RUV 350 Max. Each variant boasts a peak torque of 165Nm and a top speed of 75kmph. The RUV 350i EX and RUV 350EX have an ARAI-certified range of 105km, while the RUV 350 Max offers a range of 145km. Using the 840W charger, the RUV 350i EX and 350EX charge from 0 to 100 in three hours and five minutes, and the Max variant does the same in two hours and 35 minutes using a 1350W charger. All models are equipped with drum brakes and telescopic suspension and come with Eco, Ride, and Sport modes.
The RUV350 is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels and offers numerous storage options. It will be available in five color variants: Fury Red and Black, Astro Blue and Black, Platinum Silver, Graphite Grey, and Mystic Green. It also comes with a companion app and a subscription-based BG Connect feature for enhanced connectivity, allowing users to track their vehicle’s live data.
