Godawari Electric Motors is one of the more recent companies that has joined the electric bandwagon as they are known for their range of electric three-wheelers and e-bicycles. Now, they have dipped their toes into the e-scooter space with the eblu FEO, launched at Rs 99,999, ex-showroom.
While the design of the electric scooter is as simple as you can get, Godawari has gone for a retro theme, judging by the circular LED headlamp. Design highlights aside, the FEO is powered by an electric motor pushing 2.7kW (3.67PS) and 110Nm and comes with Economy, Normal and Power riding modes.
It is juiced by an IP67-rated 2.52kWh battery pack that helps offer a claimed range of 110km on a single charge. A 15 amp home charger claims to give the electric scooter a 0-100 percent charge time of five hours.
Other highlights include the braking duties being handled by a dual-disc setup and the e-scooter getting a digital console that features Bluetooth connectivity. The suspension comprises a telescopic setup up front and dual-tube twin shock-absorbers at the rear.
Godawari Electric Motors is targeting to set up 50 dealerships by the end of September and the eblu FEO will be offered with a three-year / 30,000km warranty plan. Deliveries are set to commence from August 23 onwards.
