JK Tyre and Industries Ltd. has been awarded the ‘Mahatma Award for Community Initiatives 2026’ to recognise the efforts made by the company towards community development and social welfare. This is the fourth time they have been honoured with the Mahatma Award, showing their commitment and consistency towards community service. The award was received by Mr. B. S. Dagar, Vice President – IR, EHS & CSR, JK Tyre, during a ceremony graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. Santrupt Mishra, Hon’ble Member of Rajya Sabha; Mr. Santosh Kumar Jha, CMD, Konkan Railways; and Shri Amit Sachdeva, CSR Man of India, who presented the award to the company.
JK Tyre’s Sarthi initiatives provide services across livelihood, education, healthcare, water conservation, and rural development. During FY 2025-26, JK Tyre’s initiatives reached 1.3 lakh people, their cumulative reach being more than 1.5 million people. The company’s community services include—Shiksha Sarthi for education; Arogya Sarthi for healthcare; Ajivika Sarthi for skill development, supporting sustainable livelihoods, and livelihood enhancement; Jal-Vayu Sarthi for water conservation and environmental priorities and Vikas Sarthi focused on rural development.
