Tata Motors has launched the updated Tiago hatchback, underpinned by the new X-ALFA platform, available in six variants, and has both manual and automatic gearbox options. Prices for the petrol variants start at ₹4.69 lakh ex-showroom, while prices for the CNG variants start at ₹5.79 lakh ex-showroom.

The 2026 Tiago gets a refreshed exterior design. At the front, the headlamps are now sleeker with integrated DRLs, a redesigned bumper with larger air intakes completes the front look. The side profile remains largely unchanged, but the hatchback now gets newly designed 15-inch alloy wheels and black wheel arches. At the rear, it features a new connected taillamp design and a revised bumper.

Tata has made some significant changes to the interior of the new Tiago. The new dashboard layout has a more modern and cleaner look. It features a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, 12.7-inch digital driver’s display, redesigned AC vents and centre console. The cabin also features an updated two-spoke steering wheel, a four-speaker sound system, two wireless charging pads, automatic climate control, rear AC vents and a cooled glovebox. In terms of safety, it has six airbags, ESC, ABS with EBD, 360° camera, and parking sensors.

In terms of powertrain, the new Tiago remains unchanged. It is offered with the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 86PS in petrol and 75.5PS with CNG. The gearbox options offered are the 5-speed manual and the 5-speed automatic. The automatic gearbox variants also get paddle shifters.
