Driving the Tata Curvv Diesel Automatic around Pune has been a surprisingly comfortable and convenient experience for me. The light and precise steering really makes city driving effortless, and the well-tuned suspension setup helps tackle uneven roads. It also offers excellent ground clearance.
Despite being an SUV-coupé, the Tata Curvv turned out to be the perfect long-term companion for me as a photographer at TURBOCHARGED. The massive boot space is a real blessing—it lets me carry all of my considerable quantity of equipment without any hassle. I’m 5’9”, so when it comes to shooting tracking shots from the boot, I actually fit perfectly!
There have been times when I’ve taken the Curvv off the beaten path in search of scenic locations for shooting some kickass cars and motorcycles. I was honestly shocked and impressed by how well it handled rough terrain. The ground clearance allowed me to confidently drive over rocks and through slushy trails without constantly worrying about the underbody. The steering feedback was admirable even on loose surfaces.
That said, I did run into one small annoyance—the ADAS system. I had to manually turn it off every time I started the car, which gets a bit irritating when you’re using it as a daily driver. Overall, I’ve really loved the experience of driving it on a daily basis. It’s grown on me, and I enjoyed spending time with our Tata Curvv.
