Every year, Kawasaki updates its product portfolio in India, and the latest motorcycle to receive some attention this year is the Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX. The 2026 Ninja 1100SX comes in a new shade called Metallic Brilliant Golden Black/Metallic Carbon Grey (we kid you not!) as compared to last year’s model, which came in Metallic Carbon Grey/Metallic Diablo Black (yeah). Kawasaki is not changing the price of this large-capacity sports tourer, and it remains the same as last year’s at ₹14.42 lakh ex-showroom.

This behemoth is powered by a 1,099cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine, making 136PS and 113Nm. The numbers may seem low, but the engine is tuned more for mid-range grunt rather than top-end power, which suits the character of the motorcycle (this also makes it a popular engine for builders of motorcycle-engined cars!). The engine is E20-compliant as per the government regulations.

The Ninja 1100SX has a proper aluminium twin-spar frame, with fully-adjustable Showa suspension at both ends. The motorcycle weighs 238kg, which should make it less susceptible to crosswinds. Couple that with a 19-litre fuel tank, and we have the makings of a proper sports tourer.
