Honda has updated the City, and it comes with new design and additional equipment like front ventilated seats, a bigger infotainment screen, and more. Let’s take a look at what’s new in the updated Honda City.

At the front, it gets a redesigned bumper with an air curtain, a black painted mesh grille, new blade-style DRLs with LED projector headlamps. The placement of the Honda logo has also changed. Coming to the side, the City is longer by 11mm compared to the previous gen, making it the longest in the segment, and it also gets new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. At the back, it gets LED taillamps now with a clear lens, mesh garnish on the lower part of the bumper, and a boot lip spoiler. Available in six colour options, with a new ‘Crystal Black Pearl’ shade.

Inside, it features a two-tone interior, finished in Ivory and black, along with a new 10.1-inch infotainment and ambient lighting. Front ventilated seats are also a new and necessary addition, considering the weather conditions of India. Apart from this, a 360° camera, wireless charging, and multiple Type-C ports are also present. It also gets level 2 ADAS, lane switch view, six airbags, rain-sensing wipers, and hill-start assist.

Powering the Honda City is the same 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 121PS and 145Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. A strong hybrid powertrain is also offered with self-charging and two electric motors producing 126PS and 253Nm mated to a CVT transmission.

As for pricing, the updated Honda City starts from ₹11.99 lakh, the same as before! But the top ZX+ petrol with CVT trim costs ₹1.08 lakh more than before, and the City strong hybrid’s price has been hiked by ₹1 lakh.

The Honda City comes with a three-year unlimited kilometres standard warranty and can be extended up to seven years with unlimited kilometres. As per the strong hybrid variant, it comes with a standard eight-year or 1.6 lakh kilometre warranty for the battery and a five-year or one lakh kilometre warranty on the hybrid components.
