Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo

Mahindra has launched the updated version of its popular MPV, the Bolero, with prices starting from ₹7.99 lakh ex-showroom. The more significant aspect of the launch, however, is that the entire range is now priced below ₹10 lakh ex-showroom, despite the new GST rates. Earlier, Mahindra had committed to passing on all the benefits of GST 2.0 to customers, and the latest prices of the Bolero are a testament to that statement. These prices are sure to attract more potential buyers looking to join the Mahindra Bolero family. The Bolero has always been the working folk’s lifeline in rural and semi-urban India, and the new updated version brings an array of features that make life even more comfortable inside the Bolero. The 2025 Bolero now features a stylish grille, new fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a new Stealth Black colour option. On the inside, the new Bolero gets steering-mounted controls, a new touchscreen infotainment system, leatherette upholstery, bottle holders in the door pockets, and a USB-C type charging port.

The Bolereo continues to be powered by the same 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, mHawk75 diesel engine, which produces 76PS and 210Nm. Mechanically, the Bolero also continues to ride on the same ladder frame as before, along with the same suspension; however, Mahindra has tuned the suspension for better ride and handling. It also comes with an engine start-stop button, dual airbags, ABS, a five-speed manual transmission, and seven seats.

Alongside the Bolero, Mahindra has also updated the Bolero Neo, and it too offers attractive pricing, just like the Bolero. Now, post-GST 2.0, it starts from ₹8.49 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to ₹9.99 lakh ex-showroom, which is technically under ₹10 lakh. The updated Neo features a bold new grille with horizontal accents, 16-inch alloy wheels in Metallic Grey, and two new exterior colours: Jeans Blue and Concrete Grey. As for the interior, there is a new dashboard colour option called Lunar Grey, available only on the top-end variant, and a Mocha Brown colour option, which is limited to lower variants. The Neo also features leatherette upholstery, a 9-inch infotainment system, a rear-view camera with guidelines, a USB-C type charging port, and cruise control.

Just like the Bolero, the Bolero Neo also continues with the same mechanicals, like the 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, mHawk100 diesel engine that produces 100PS and 260Nm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The updated Bolero Neo continues with the same chassis; however, the suspension setup has been tuned for better ride and handling as it utilises Mahindra’s RideFlo tech. Mahindra have also worked on improving the brake and steering feedback on the Bolero Neo; however, we will have to drive the Neo before we can confirm it.
