Hyundai has revealed the second generation of its Venue SUV, and the looks of the updated one follow the same styling theme first seen on the current version of the Creta SUV, following the family look. The carmaker has also renamed all the trim levels as HX (Hyundai Experience), moving away from the older S/S+/SX/SX(O) nomenclature, and now it goes like HX 2, HX 4, HX 5, HX 6, HX 6T, HX 8 and HX 10 for the petrol and HX 2, HX 5, HX 7 and HX 10 for the diesel variant.

The new Venue has grown to be bigger, and comes with larger dimensions, starting with a 20mm longer wheelbase, which should free up some extra interior space and is 48mm taller and 30mm wider than the previous model. The length remains the same at 3,995mm. On the exterior, the visual refresh brings quad beam LED headlamps, twin horn LED DRLs, a horizon LED positioning lamp, rear horizon LED tail lamps, a dark chrome radiator grille, and bridge type roof rails.

On the inside, it gets a 24.6-inch (dual 12.3-inch + 12.3-inch) curved Panoramic display housing both the infotainment screen and the instrument cluster and gains a rear window sunshade. There’s a coffee table centre console with surround ambient lighting in a moon white shade on the Terrazzo-textured crash pad. It also gets a D-Cut steering wheel, electric 4-way adjustable driver seats, 2-Step reclining rear seats, as well as rear AC vents, which complete the overall interior.

Powering the all-new Venue are Hyundai’s same tried-and-tested range of engines–two petrol engines with and without turbocharging, and a diesel (Kappa 1.2-litre MPi petrol, Kappa 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol and U2 1.5-litre CRDi Diesel), which can be availed with manual, automatic and DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) options. The compact SUV offers new colours as well, like Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire. The new Hyundai Venue is set to be launched on November 4, 2025, and that’s when we will be able to tell how much the new Updates has added to the price of the new Venue.
