The 2025 iteration of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, priced at ₹1.92 lakh, ex-showroom, is a result of Bajaj listening to customer feedback on the 2024 version of the motorcycle.
After listening to the inputs from the customers and critics alike, Bajaj identified certain areas of improvement for the Pulsar NS400Z. As such, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has undergone a few changes—the major areas Bajaj focused on were the increase in power, addition of sintered brake pads, radial tyres, and a bi-directional quickshifter as well, all of this at a premium of just ₹7,000 over the last NS400Z price tag.

The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z produces 3PS more than the Last NS400Z, which is 43.59PS at 9,500rpm. Bajaj has also introduced sintered brake pads to the NS400Z, replacing the organic ones in the previous model. The new version of the motorcycle rolls on the Apollo Alpha H1 radial types, sized 150/60-ZR17 rear and 110/70-ZR17 front, rear tyre being broader than last year’s NS400Z, not to mention the 2024 iteration came with cross-ply tyres on a 40PS motorcycle, which many people pointed out was safety concern The 373cc engine has also been through some changes, now redlining at 10,700rpm. On the other hand, the torque figure remains the same at 35Nm. In addition to the equipment list, the 2025 NS400Z comes with a bi-directional quickshifter, which is operational only in the sports mode. Similar to the 2024 NS400Z, the new NS400Z also offers four riding modes, including Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road, with Sport mode getting slightly improved throttle response. The rest of the bike is unchanged from the 2024 version.
In the market, the Pulsar NS400Z competes with only the Triumph Speed 400 T4, as there isn’t a combination of power and price quite as appealing as the 2025 NS400Z on the market, which makes it one of the best value propositions available to Indian customers.
